This year we are planting trees and expanding our all natural chemical free sustainable heirloom based garden to double
size.
We respect 40 acre environment we live on and have alwys taken step to protect and nourish it's microenvironment. In fact,
our survival as farmers is dependent on taking good care of this land and it's inhabitants. Our neighborhood was previously
a rural community abundant with farms, and it is quickly becoming a busy suburb. We ire now in the midst of much more traffic,
noise, and light pollution than we've ever seen here. Because of this and the building of more and more houses around this
40 acres, we see a changed movement pattern of the assorted wildlife of the are, many are taking refuge on the 25 acres of
this property that is undisturbed natural prairie. We intend to protect this land with all of our might.
We are planning on adding solar and wind power, and with your help, we can afford and begin building a greener 40 acres
that will benefit everyone.

We start our seeds in February so we can have the seasonal subscriptions available in May, we want to help you plan ahead
too (especially if you are looking to get subcriptions for say a big group like a Church) so please let us know in about January
what you would like your subscription to include so we can do a more customized fit of products and assure we grow enough
of everything. Please do call us ahead. As you might guess, the growing season and weather here in Minnesota makes it necessary
to have a good plan. And boy, did we ever have weather here this year!
We would like to add the Twin Cities and Little Falls areas, and implore your help: in order to deliver to these areas we
need bunches of subscriptions and sites we can drop off at. Please help us bring you all natural farm fresh goods by boastings
just a little about the Community Supported Agriculture we offer.
Shares consists of a variety box full of our products and produce each month available in our local area (please see CSA listing
for drop off points.)
A 1 year share will include 12 boxes of fresh produce and fruits while in season please see the lengthly list in farms: http://www.localharvest.org/farms/m9122
your delivery might include things like fresh gourmet tender beans, baby cukes, gorgeous beets, celery with the leaves, fancy
okra. Fall and Winter when out of season might include things like huckleberry & other jams, dried herbs, dried vegies,
crafts, sourdough bread, bisciotti, fresh soft pretzels, gourmet vinegars and pickles, bath products. 1/2 year $250 or 1 year
$500, products delivered monthly free to persons within 10 mile radius of 7609 County Road 17, Rice, MN (please call for prices/availability/options
on deliveries to destinations outside the 10 mile range.
